What to expect?
Our MNRRI registered Reflexologist is trained in maternity methods and will devise a safe treatment plan for the different stages of your pregnancy. Any disorders will be taken into account and treated accordingly in safety. Although mild discomfort can sometimes be felt where there is an energy imbalance, there should be no pain felt at any stage.
General Recommendations
We advise to wait though until you are 16 weeks pregnant or more and have had your first scan before you start your Maternity Reflexology treatment with us. Several sessions are advised as the effects of Maternity Reflexology are cumulative. Please note Reflexology during pregnancy is not indicated if there’s a risk of miscarriage, eclampsia, blood clotting history, placenta praevia, placental separation, history of unstable diabetes or deep vein thrombosis.
