Maternity Reflexology

Supporting women during pregnancy to reduce stress and anxiety and to improve sleep, to alleviate symptoms of constipation, indigestion, water retention, back pain, sciatica, urinary tract and breathlessness. Maternity Reflexology helps preparing your body for labour to reduce labour time and pain. Post-natal Reflexology can help you regain balance and vitality on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

I went to Anne for fertility and maternity reflexology and continue to go for post-partum reflexology. Anne is warm, professional and great at what she does. I find her treatments so relaxing, rejuvenating, and beneficial. I always feel great afterwards. I would highly recommend her.

General Recommendations

We advise to wait though until you are 16 weeks pregnant or more and have had your first scan before you start your Maternity Reflexology treatment with us. Several sessions are advised as the effects of Maternity Reflexology are cumulative. Please note Reflexology during pregnancy is not indicated if there’s a risk of miscarriage, eclampsia, blood clotting history, placenta praevia, placental separation, history of unstable diabetes or deep vein thrombosis.

In general a monthly treatment is advisable until the 37th week then a once a week treatment will be recommended until the end of the pregnancy.
If you’re having some health problems associated with pregnancy, more Maternity Reflexology treatments will be recommended to assist you during this time for better comfort.

Following the 37th week of pregnancy, Maternity Reflexology with Preparation for Labour will be offered.
It is advisable to have at least two normal Reflexology treatments before doing Labour Preparation.

Postnatal Reflexology

To support changes in your body and to restore balance addressing physical, mental and emotional problems: pain in the pelvic area, lactation, shoulders, backache, constipation, low mood, fatigue and stress.
