Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is also known as Champissage – from the Indi word champi which means shampooing or head massage – and comes from the ayurvedic medicine which bring a balance for good health.

Narendra Mehta, a Physiotherapist and pioneer of Indian Champissage from the 70’s, extends this technique done traditionally on head to face, neck, shoulders, upper arms and upper back where there is the most accumulation of stress and tension. Interested in adding the Therapeutic value of Indian Head Massage, he also incorporated the 3 higher chakras to work on the subtle energy and to balance the whole person.

Very effective and balancing. Suitable for all ages and can be done on a chair and fully clothed.
